Apply for Funding

Overview

The Iwamoto Europe Foundation provides grants to projects that align with its mission. Funding decisions are made by the Board following a structured evaluation process.

Funding Cycles

  • 2–4 funding rounds per year (TBD, write exact dates)
  • Applications reviewed and voted on by the Board (TBD, process to be written)

Eligible Applicants

  • European Go federations or associations
  • Non-profit organizations
  • Educational institutions
  • Individual project leader or informal teams, provided they demonstrate:
    • A clear and well-structured project proposal
    • Proven capacity to deliver the project
    • Appropriate accountability

Selection Criteria

Projects are evaluated on many criteria, especially:

  • Alignment with the Foundation’s mission
  • Sustainability and long-term value
  • Clear objectives and execution plan
  • Impact on youth and/or women

Application Process

Applicants will be asked to:

  1. Describe the project and objectives
  2. Describe your team and project management methodology
  3. Provide a budget and funding request
  4. Explain expected impact and evaluation metrics
  5. Share organizational background
