Chairman: Shinji Takao
	Shinji Takao is a Japanese professional Go player (9-dan) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nihon Ki-in. He has won major titles including Honinbo, Meijin, Judan and Tengen.
Governing Board member: Hirofumi Ohashi
	Hirofumi Ohashi is a Japanese professional Go player (7-dan) and Executive Director of the Nihon Ki-in. He teaches Go and AI at the University of Electro-Communications (UEC) and is active in promoting Go internationally, particularly in Europe.
Governing Board member: Toshiyuki Ban
	Toshiyuki Ban is Secretary General of the Nihon Ki-in. A graduate of the University of Tokyo, he is a former senior economist and legal department general manager in the Japanese banking and investment banking sector. He is also an amateur Go player.
Vice-Chairman: Dr Manja Marz
	Manja is the President of the European Go Federation and SENKO World Women’s Champion of the Amateur section 2026. Contact
Treasurer: Dragan Dubakovic
	Dragan is a board member of the Serbian Go Federation, an EGF tournament organizer and referee, and a Serbian national team player. Contact
Executive Director: Flavien Aubelle
	Flavien has been President of the Swiss Go Federation since 2011 and is a former Insei. Contact
Netherlands co-ordinator: Han Ellenbroek
	Han has been playing Go for 45 years. He has held various roles in the world of Go: president, treasurer, organizer, committee member and author. He is the data controller for IEF. Contact

 

IEF secretary and Nihon Kiin contact point: Tomotaka Urasoe
	Tomotaka Urasoe is General Manager of the IGF. He has been involved in the international activities of the Japanese Go Association since 2011 and has held several senior positions at the IGF, including Secretary General from 2024 to 2026. He also serves as the IGF’s delegate to the International Mind Sports Association (IMSA).
